It's kinda hard for me to boil a person down to a couple of sentences, but I'll try. I'm Clauvio (nickname is clauvi), a fairly normal(?) woman. Why do I have that name when I'm a girl? I don't know, ask my parents. I'm a bit awkward and have foot-in-mouth disease, so if I say something that gives you pause, give me at least 5 more tries to get it right. I like the quieter and smaller things in life. My superpower is liking things easily. The trade off is that I am extremely picky with liking things deeply.
I have a couple of different hobbies, but my primary interest is with old, weird, and offbeat media. I love retro games in particular. My favorite consoles are the SNES and PS1, and a favorite old game of mine is The Adventure of Little Ralph (1999) for the PS1. I have a lot of consoles physically, but am looking to collect more (along with a CRT now that I'm a cool adult that can foolishly spend money)
Big horror fan as well (sorry that was obvious). There is a lot I want to say about the topic. I will restrain myself here though since this is supposed to be on the shorter side. My liked types are found footage, slow psychological horror, and body horror. Kiyoshi Kurosawa is one of my favorite horror directors and has made some of my most loved films ever, namely Pulse (2001) and Cure (1997). Outside of that director, I adore the horror movies Lake Mungo (2008) and The Wicker Man (1973). I also just enjoy watching older movies in general and appreciating the cinematography, but I'll try not to be too pretentious to you about it!
I love animals and nature. I used to actually hate going outside, but now I love exploring the outdoors and taking (self-indulgent and amateur) pictures with my instant film camera. I don't want to be a photographer necessarily, I just wanna save my memories and look back at them later.
Hmm what else... I like reading a lot. I try to finish a book every week. It gives me daydream fuel. I love weeb stuff as well (mainly manga but anime is good too).
